My garage is pulling quadruple duty, and I need more space for woodworking. The current setup is bad for the bikes (they constantly get knocked over, causing damage to them and everything else) and makes it difficult to get them in and out.
We have two adult bikes, and a kids bike. The kids bike gets used daily, my bike gets used at least 3 times a week, and my wife's gets used very occasionally. Mine is a specialized hybrid, hers is a bit bigger, and the kid's is a small bmx style bike.
I am thinking about getting a surplussed American Bicycle Security Company 300 series bike locker to put out by the driveway to get the bikes out of the garage, but still sheltered. I am 90% sure these are the exact ones you see at businesses, schools, and in some cities. I can get it for a few hundred bucks. I have never used a bike locker.
Can someone who has used these bike lockers let me know if storing two adult bikes and a kids bike in there would practically let me get the two bikes we use in and out without too much hassle while the third just stays in there?
