I’m looking for a nice, budget long travel rig and have narrowed it down to the trek slash 9.7 gen 5 or the specialized status 170 2. I already have a good short travel bike and need something with more travel that I can take to the bike park and on some larger, more techy trails. I still need it to be able to climb though, because most of the bike parks near me don’t have lifts. Personally, I’m leaning towards the specialized, as it seems like a better deal, but figured I’d get a second opinion. What do yall think?
