Hi,
I am now choosing my first endurance bike and was looking at two options purchased new from store:
Canyon Endurace 6 2024 model year (approx. €1,600) https://www.canyon.com/en-de/road-bikes/endurance-bikes/endurace/al/endurace-6/3718.html?dwvar_3718_pv_rahmenfarbe=R074_P05&dwvar_3718_pv_rahmengroesse=L
Cube Attain Race 2022 model year (approx. €1,100) https://archiv.cube.eu/en/2022/576310
Both have roughly the same specifications on paper with Tiagra 4700 series though I assume Canyon has a newer version with hydrolic calipers. I would have chosen the Canyon if it was not outside my budget range, while the Cube is. So my question is whether it is worth it extending the budget by another €500 to get the Canyon with newer system or Cube would be good enough? There is also a difference in tire clearance – 35 mm for Canyon and 28mm (can be stretched to 30-32 mm) for Cube.
I am planing to have 2-3 rides weekly between 40 and 80 km each with occasional 100+ km rides. The rides are 90% paved 10% gravel.
OBS: Prices indicated in the post are relevant to my country currency and have nothing to do with the prices in the links.
