How does the new checkpoint gen 3 SL6 compare to the Lauf Seigla core wireless? Any reason to get one over the other?

I currently ride a Fuji Sportif endurance bike with 32 mm WTB tires and it’s just not cutting it for the type of riding I want to do.

3200 usd before tax

Lauf: https://www.laufcycles.com/product/seigla-rigid. I’m dead set on the green color so it’s around 3000 usd before tax

Oooor should I go big with the Lauf Seigla with suspension fork? I ride on some dirt trails with ruts/roots. Would be 3400 before tax https://www.laufcycles.com/product/seigla-rigid

Intended use includes gravel riding, some single track, and bikepacking.

I’m leaning towards the checkpoint for the additional mounting points and in frame storage. Plus I live near a trek dealer and like the new colors. My hesitation is that I’m losing out on the carbon “smoothie” handlebar and I’ve also heard that the checkpoint is a “slower” bike compared to the Lauf. I don’t intend on entering any races but I do like to ride quickly/have a responsive handling feel.

What do you all think? Direct to consumer savings with the Seigla rigid? Buy once cry once with the Lauf Seigla + fork? Or local shop support with the Trek?
Eager to know what you all think!
