Cambridge or Oxford has remained a dream for me back then when I studied. I couldn't even afford Heidelberg, so UK was totally out of reach. We neither weren't informed about the possibility of getting in via scholarships. From what I know nowadays, I would definitely have tried to apply for a scholarship. In the end I went to Greece for one year, and it was great.
Next university to present: Heidelberg?
In my opinion all these "elite" universities are overrated. Especially the Ivy League. Other than the reputation and clout what do they offer that you can't get from a state school?
A diversity of nationalities for sure, but true diversity? Certainly not.
You will be studying in the most class conscious large country in Europe, and the vast majority of the students will come from wealthy families. Virtually all of these people have been force fed half-truths, myths and outright lies about the evil ideology of global gangster capitalism their entire lives, and are incapable of seeing the truth. They are mainly careerists who are in training to spend the rest of their lives maximizing personal wealth and power, regardless of the consequences to humanity or our home planet. You will hand over a wad of money to the institution, graduate unable to think critically, and move on to a life of mindless consumption and greed.
Tu Darmstadt, Uni of Bremen, Uni of Kassel, Oxford please.
No university should cost 40K per year. Imagine talking and discussing about improving the world and making it a better place to live while draining students’ pockets.
These unis are so overrated.
iam really interested in "Protest Major" with "Diversity Minor" Course.
