The route I have planned is:
Day 1: Calais > Arras
Day 2: Arras > Saint Quentin
Day 3: Saint Quentin > Reims
Day 4: Reims > Saint Dizier
Day 5: Saint Dizier > Chaumont
Day 6: Chaumont > Besancon
Day 7: Besancon > Pontarlier
Day 8: Pontarlier > Lausanne
I’ve considered doing Reims > Troyes > Dijon > Besancon on days 4, 5, and 6.
Has anyone got any tips or advice for this trip.
Maybe suggestions of going to other places, skipping underwhelming places, pit stops on the way, places to eat/drink.
I’m quite easy going and open to many experiences. I do wanna eat really well when out there though.
I’m gonna travel light and stay at hotels. I’ll be on a gravel bike, but would rather avoid off-road. I like scenic routes with good views.
Sorry if the info I’ve shared is naff. I don’t know what I’m doing. Just want someone else to plan my holiday for me.
