This was my dads old bike that has been sitting in our backyard shed for over 20 years. About a month ago I decided to completely strip it down, degrease, derust, and replace essential parts in hopes of getting it back to its former glory.
Thankfully it’s finally done and has had tons of work done to it. To some the juice might’ve not been worth the squeeze as a lot of this tech is outdated. This was more of a passion project for me.
All major parts such as the group set, levers, fox float shock, and front fork are all original and were cleaned and resorted as best as possible.
Everything listed below are new parts:
-Grips
-Cables and housing
-Tires
-Seat & post
-Break pads
-Chain
-Suspension bearing
-Bottom bracket
This project was definitely challenging and couldn’t have been finished without the help of my LBS
Looking forward to finally hitting some nice paths.
