Welcome to the video of week 6 of Biking for the Barrios. In this video we’ll be showing some snippets of our life on the road in week 6.
This week Sam cycled from Slavonski Brod in Croatia to Belgrade in Serbia. It was a week of flat lands empty fields and speeds records. The current record day is 72 km is 3 hours and 24 minutes averaging 21.1km/h. On the final day of this week Sam covered a distance of 160km which is now the longest day of cycling so far. It was very sad to leave Croatia as the people here have been extremely kind and helpful, but it is also exciting to be in a new country and to have left the EU. Next week Sam will enter the EU again tho…
All in all a very eventful week full of ups and downs in a flat land.
