On Day 1 of my bikepacking trip to Sauerland, I took a train to Koblenz and started cycling east through the Nassau and Taunus nature parks. With the temperature at 33°C, I had to hike my bike up the first climb, which had up to 17% elevation. I avoided tough climbs afterward. Too late for legal camping, I found a shelter for the night. It was an amazing experience!
