Wow. So I finally have a new rig. I’ve been out of the game for a long time. I used to live in Minneapolis and worked in the bike industry. I’d ride 7000 miles a year, camp 100 nights, and didn’t even have a car. Then life happened. I got married and move to Colorado. I sold all my bikes so I could live my dreams in the mountains. I didn’t want material things to prevent me from living out my dreams so I sold them. Priorities shifted and it felt like the right thing to do.
Fast forward to now and I’m living in Tucson. Just got a Salsa Cutthroat! My main ride all those years ago was a Titanium Fargo. It feels so similar to that bike and it’s bringing back incredible memories. A wild thing is I still have some old Revelate bags. That’s a 10 year old gas tank on this bike!
