They are called tines for a hay baler
The silver hubcap thing you said was not a hubcap. It looks like it's the beauty ring that goes around a headlight of a old Volkswagen beetle

Those spring things that you found are the springs to the hood of a Volkswagen beetle. I don't know why there's so many cuz each beetle has one so someone has thrown a lot of them in the river
Those look like OLD headlight trim rings. Maybe there’s pieces of an antique truck down there.

That round piece that you think it might be part of a hubcap I was thinking more of a volts wagon the headlight had a frame like that that inserted into the 1970s model.
The round frame piece is a frame for a motorcycle light and the chain is from a motorcycle so obviously there is a motorcycle down there especially with the wheel and oil it's a motorcycle that is down there that you are pulling up
Its definitely a motorcycle that is down there especially with the oil it's a motorcycle does not take rocket science

A slave dug canal.😢 Those chains were probably used to bound the slaves. They can stay on the bottom of that canal where they belong.
