So I have a new Aeroad, and today I noticed the seat tube bottle cage was not straight.
Upon closer inspection I noticed that the top rivnut insert is no longer flush with the frame, about 1mm raised at an angle almost as if it’s working its way out. It’s firm though, it doesn’t wiggle or spin. I am not sure whether I overtightened the cage or whether it’s factory, I just noticed.
I emailed Canyon. In any case is this a bike shop type of repair, my local one said they rather not touch it considering it’s a new frame…
