New bike Scott Scale

I went around to the bike shops in my town looking for a hard tail with decent mid level Shimano components but literally every bike had a sram nx mech, so I picked up this Scale 950 instead.

Fox float rhythm grip fork
Deore MT201 brakes

I bought this to upgrade when stuff breaks but I’m a little confused regarding the. I thought it was a Shimano XT with Deore shifters etc.

So how do you all like that color scheme and is Deore XT and XT the same thing? It’s really hard to follow the Shimano lines of components. I know XT is the step up to mid level but idk where Deore XT places. 🤔

Also.. if anyone happens to to know what the yellow container of fluid placed left of the brand print.. might have to zoom to see what I mean.
