1up Equip’D hitch assembly compatible with addon?

I’m looking at buying a used Equip’d add-on that I’d like to setup and wondering what extra parts are needed to complete the setup (and if it’s worth doing)? It’s hard to tell but it doesn’t look like the addon would connect directly to the hitch assembly.

I currently have a 1up roof rack and was originally going to buy a standard hitch assembly and mounting hardware conversion kit for ~$300 but I’ve since realized you can’t mix and match Equip’d parts so wondering what options I have. If the hitch assembly is all that’s needed to make the Equip’d addon work then I’ll probably go that route and sell the roof rack.

• 99% of the time I’ll only need to carry a single bike and have a second non-1up roof rack for other times. That said, being able to carry two would be nice.
• have no plans of getting an ebike or needing to carry something heavier than 50lbs
