I’m looking at used bikes for myself and 13 yo daughter. These are our contenders. I was originally looking for Electra Townies but came across the Specialized bike and can’t find much info about it.
These will be used for neighborhood rides, family greenway rides, etc. My daughter outgrew her bike a couple of years ago and she’s currently hesitant on a bike so I was leaning towards the 3i for her because of the coaster brakes. She prefers the color of the 7D though. I’m thinking about the Specialized bike for myself. Or, alternatively, getting the two Townies and as my daughter grows confident, sell the 3i and get another 7D.
There is another 7D for sale in our area for $350, and a 21 speed Townie for the same price.
