So I work on a large industrial construction site outside of town and had been cycling to work and leaving it in the bike store. I had been using a bike that was a little too nice for what I was doing but it was only for a week till I found a commuter.
So I came back one day after work to my bike which was locked up out side the security office in the bike store and the rear wheel was destroyed and chainstays are bent possibly beyond repair. After the security guard did some investigation he found out that a forklift driver has basically driven into my rear wheel pushing it against the u shape floor mount it was locked to and destroyed my bike. He even provided a video of the incident but the cameras are placed in an unfortunate position and only shows the forklift and not the bike so it’s not incriminating enough.

I’ve been trying to get to bottom of all this but with all large sites it’s a load of different contractors and sub contractors. After talking to company in question they’ve basically said drivers denied it so they’re not doing anything.

My question is does anyone have any advice on legal action or rights that would help in this situation. I’m about ready to put sugar in the guys tank but was hoping to go down the proper route first.
