Anyone else experienced this? The knobs on the treads aren't getting worn down, they're snapping right off. I have only been wearing these since late April.
After inquiring with Shimano I was told to physically bring them to the original retailer for an inspection. I ordered them online from Toronto, Canada, and I'm based in Quebec so this isn't exactly frictionless- how about just acknowledging that they're clearly trashed and sending me a return mailing label? I have a pair of XC901s purchased in 2021 that look better than this after 3 years & 30,000+km of gravel, winter riding, surprise hike-a-bike, and all manner of other abuse. Sure, the heels on those are worn pretty much flat, but.. they don't have a bunch of giant holes in them!
There's a new model out now so the XC902s are probably vanishing from shelves, but if you see them on clearout sale somewhere, avoid avoid avoid
