welcome back to another draw with me video! this week’s inspo is piggy backing after last week’s tour de france (‘tdf’) video 🙂
this is Alpe d’Huez, a renowned mountain resort in the French Alps, famous for its challenging climb and stunning views.
it is of the most famous climbs in the Tour de France, featuring 21 hairpin bends over 13.8 kilometers with an average gradient of 8.1%.
the summit of Alpe d’Huez sits at an elevation of 1,860 meters (6,102 feet).
it is often called “L’Île au Soleil” (Island in the Sun) due to its sunny weather, with around 300 days of sunshine per year. 🌞
