
I basically want to do what this guy did, but with a 3D printed version of that special part because it isn't sold anymore.
I ideally would like to purchase the Pro-only part number "123757" to replace my cracked thick H31 transition plate (same as this), but I haven't had luck with getting Customer Service to allow me to purchase one, as I believe it is completely discontinued at this point. So I would like to pursue 3D printing my own, but my only worry is that I need the rubber seal that sits underneath the plate to protect the top of the bearings/compression ring from moisture or dust.
TLDR: Would it work to 3D print a thin transition plate (similar to this) then attach the rubber seal from my cracked transition plate?
