For context…
I made an order on retrogression, and in that order was a rim, hubs, and spokes.
I got an email back from the shop telling me that I never put on a wheel build charge, which in my defense wasn’t an option when I ordered the components individually.
I let them know that … easy enough.
They sent me a link to order the labor charge, and when I went to pay for the labor, it charged me an additional $30 for shipping. To me that looks like a mistake since you can’t ship labor.(even though I see now that it is separately because once the wheel is built, it’s considered oversized instead of it just being the rim by itself.)
I simply started asking questions in pointing out that I already paid for shipping on the entire order which was around $1700, maybe it’s a mistake.
The guy goes off on me telling me that if I wanna argue, he’s just gonna cancel the order.
Maybe I came off as sarcastic, but all I did was ask him if he’s OK and boom whole order canceled. Was I being a dick or was this guy overreacting?
