[Music] welcome to Sis Swiss International School Basel we are a bilingual day school starting from kindergarten and leading up to University entrance qualifications our kindergarten offers a well supervised and stimulating learning environment in kindergarten at the sis the children come there’s one day for one language so we navigate through the week using 50% English 50% German and the children go through the academic day with their teachers so they will always have two teachers the German teacher and the English teacher you get to play outside for the afternoon and the morning and it’s really fun because we offer all School levels Under One Roof the transition from kindergarten to Primary School is easy for the children and there s [Music] on the extracurricular activity what makes my school unique is that once you come home you can tell your parents that you got new friends that uh what you learned was really important and that everything you had in the day was a joyful day and you were really happy the children in our Primary School are ideal prepared for attendance at our bilingual College after Primary School the students have one of two options they can either go the preib track and study in the international stream or they can go the secondary school route which would then prepare them for the Swiss matura both of these courses then would happen over the course of 2 [Music] years any child can join the sis and we are going to immerse them in English and in German and children are like little sponges so they absorb the language and soon enough you will see they will Master the skill of speaking English and German sis Basel is part of the sis Group which has schools all over the world at the same time we are locally anchored and live a diverse and Lively Community I think what makes our school unique is the facilities we are in like the beautiful building as well as the amount of effort some teachers put in to have lessons that are fun to participate [Music] in we look forward to getting to know you and your child contact us and experience International Education and bilingualism firsthand
