Hi all, I'm a total nab in regards to mountain biking. I ride a gravel bike around my local hill area, which is an 800m ascent, 30-60 km rides. I love climbing, it's descending that I'm not fond of. So I'm looking for something that climbs well and is more fun to ride on trails, especially going downhill. Not planning on doing jumps anytime soon, but would like to learn how to ride easy singletracks. I narrowed it down to a hardtail with a dropper, budget around 1000eur:
