Ciao everyone !

Just wanted to share my experience with you fine people.

I've been a lurker of this sub since I started being interested in bikepacking and thought Italy would be a blast and quite easy to get to since I live in the south of France.

Indeed it is a real blast ! I'm traveling from Levanto (north of cinque terre) to Roma, passing by Pisa, Firenze, Sienna and my final destination for now, Roma (I don't know yet if I'll stop in Roma).

I'm riding a triban grvl 520 shimano 105 with a mix of zefal and decathlon bags.
I have this bike for 3 months now, and it's my first bike. Not gonna lie I didn't prepare enough for the trip. I wish I had more time to learn how to ride uphill because I'm struggling a lot in Tuscany. When the hill is more than 10% (especially on a trail) I have to walk because I'm too weak to climb.

I'm wild camping since I got there with mt900 decathlon stuff but I'm taking two rest days in a bnb in a wonderful village on the way to Roma

Thanks everyone for giving me the excitement to bikepack! Y'all have been an inspiration with your wonderful trips.
