Picked up a new pressure washer with a wet blast add-on today. Really impressed at how good of a job it did. Used about 40 lbs of fine sand. I then used rust converter on the bare metal before putting on decals and clear coating. Didn't wet sand, so there is definitely some orange peel, but the cool thing is that the rust converter turns the surface into a black layer of iron oxide, but doesn't affect the solder, so you get this pin striping effect around the lugs. We'll see how durable it is, but it was a fun day nonetheless.
