Checked out the 10 Lakes overnighter out of Powell River (British Columbia Canada) this Canada Day long weekend. The logging road network out here is absolutely amazing and can really take you places. Camped out at Windsor Lake and met a couple big canoe groups on a lake hopping trip. The majority of the route is flanked by raspberry bushes that are currently loaded with ripe raspberries. These made for good snacking, but I also ran into a couple large black bears that fortunately didn't enjoy my hootin' and hollerin'. Can't wait to get back there again and push further into the Eldred Valley area.
