When riding with the Swift Zeitgeist loaded up, the front tire would rub the bag on bumps so I picked up a the titanium Rando Rack from Rawland Cycles to support it.
I’m probably overthinking this, but is there any benefit to attaching the rack struts to the upper eyelets on the fork rather than to the eyelet by the axle? The only thing that crossed my mind is having a shorter strut length might make it a bit stiffer.

I mounted the rack this way so that the fork legs are free to carry additional items if needed. But i noticed most people attach it to the upper eyelet so I figured I’d ask.
