Hi all,
need your help – I'm currently deciding between Canyon Pathlite:ON 4 SUV and SPECIALIZED Turbo Como SL 5.0 (see links to both below), as they are both reduced.
Use:
- For daily commute to work only on asphalt road (around 5km one way), one long and rather steep hill on the way back home
- Usually dressed smart casual/business and I sweat very easily, therefore an e-bike would be great for the hill
- Occasionally for quick grocery shopping, weekend commute to the city and possibly some longer trips around the area
- Currently, I don't ride a bike but would like to be more active and ride the bike daily to work instead of taking public transport
- I want a bike that will last and remain reliable over the years. Any insights on durability and maintenance for either brand would be greatly appreciated.
- Unsure whether I like the upright or sporty driving style more atm. Sometimes I ride the rentable bikes around the city which have an upright position, and it's not too bad.
What is your opinion about this? Does the 1k higher price justify the Canyon's power and style?
