Found this in a bundle of parts that came off a bike that was stolen and unfortunately spray painted then retrieved. My heart would have been broken dude! Damn…
Anyway Had to clean up a bit of overspray off it, but it was really only on the spokes mostly. Came right off with penetrating oil on the spokes. lol 😂 This guy said his sister stole it, painted it and when he saw it he was so mad he was just done with bmx. He said he doesn’t have the time to fix all of it he works too much So he was trying to sell off a bunch of painted parts which were in a gnarly condition but HIGH END stuff.. but somehow this front wheel survived the slaughter, and made its way to my home for the low price of about 60$ Where it will be safe forever from all types of rattlecans 😂 somehow I talked him into giving me the bundle for the 100$ but I explained to him most of that value was for the wheel. He went for it, threw in a bunch of extras, I promised him I would give them a good home. These are even nicer once you hold one in person. The way the wheel spins is amazing it feels nothing like any other front wheel in hand I’ve ever held
One side of the spokes is a bit rusted which I’ll be swapping out shortly, but other than that I mean can’t beat that deal. I was able to get the tiny bit of dots from overspray off that vandero hub as well. I honestly appreciate dude for this one ! Also got a S&M enduro stem in red. Thankful 🙏
