In this Brompton Bikepacking adventure video, I tried wild camping for the first time and visited an unspoiled beach. But the weather eventually crept up on me. Let’s say that if there’s one thing I should take away from this trip, I should always put the guylines on my tent! Over three days and two nights, I aimed to view at least four medieval castles. I cycled over 140km from the outskirts of Newcastle to Berwick-Upon-Tweed. The weather was wild on the last day, and I must admit I struggled against the headwind. And to make matters worse, a bad night's sleep on the last night left me feeling grumpy and shattered! But I just had to keep going to make my train back home.
