Hi all, just wanted to share this beautiful beast I finally let go of last weekend. After losing my garage space, I pulled the trigger because I just had too many bikes infringing on the living quarters.
I picked up the bike about two years ago for my wife thinking “I could cruise around on that, too”. After all, being seen riding a step-through frame (in the US of A) never bothered me, and I’ve been open to them after riding around in Asia where it’s more common.
Long story short, it was listed for $80 and came with 27” wheels, no brakes, a 48t(!) stock chainring. Thanks to some spare parts I got it running nearly period correct… for little while. Last picture is stock; minus the tires. I sold it to a fellow Bridgestone lover with all the original parts included. She fit 2.55” tires and was a bouncy, upright, steel beast. I miss her but we had some good times. Thought I’d share!
