Please give me feedback on these Craigslist posts!

I am trying to buy a bike for my 1 hour commute in NYC area. I don't know almost anything about how to properly find a used bike, which I am now trying to learn.

These two bikes seem to be very reputable ones (but probably old versions as my search showed, and the seller didn't put much specs or info on them), so I was wondering why they are so cheap compared to their market prices.

What exactly should I be careful about if I am going to see those bikes in person?
