Background info: I bought this bike fifteen years ago when I decided to cycle along the Silk Roads, all the way from China through Central Asia back to Europe on my own. I still consider this five-month trip in 2008 as one of the most significant challenges in my life.
After my Silk Roads trip, I never cycled again. However, I always had it around me. I even took it to Cyprus with me.
As a new year resolution, I have decided to cycle around the island.
