Dear all,

I have been restoring old 90s steel MTBs for a while now, and I wanted to give a try to a vintage road bicycle as well.

I found this Mercier "Tour de France" for 400€. It seems just the right amount of old and rusty for a relatively easy restoration (I will keep the paint and derust/overhaul the rest) and the size looks good. I love the colour and look, but it looks pricey. I wanted to make sure the price is justified:

It is stated that it has Campagnolo gears, mafak breaks and 3T handlebar.

If the structure is good, is this a little gem worth buying and restoring, or does it look overpriced?

PS. I know that prices are relative to the markets. For some reason, in Greece, vintage bikes are often much pricier than findings in ebay.
