Dave Culligan and his adventurous friends embark on a two-day biking expedition, traversing the picturesque route from Grand-Pré to the charming town of Annapolis Royal in Nova Scotia.

This remarkable journey unveils a tapestry of ‘Must-See Highlights’:

The friends visit the captivating landscapes of the Grand Pré UNESCO World Heritage Site, a poignant tribute to the enduring legacy of the Acadians.

As they pedal along the Annapolis River, they are enchanted by the passage over two iconic railway bridges, the serene beauty of farmers’ fields, bountiful apple orchards, and the quaint towns of Berwick, Kentville, and Wolfville.

They discover the heart of Nova Scotia’s wine country, where the trail meanders through several esteemed wineries.

At Noggins Corner Farm Market, they snack on local fruits, vegetables and partake apple picking.

They enjoy locally-produced wine, beer, cider, and spirits while exploring the stops on the Good Cheer Trail, a trail that celebrates Canada’s first fusion of wineries, craft breweries, cideries, and distilleries.

As they roll into Berwick, the “Apple Capital of Nova Scotia”, they enjoy coffee and treats from North Mountain Fine Coffee and a delicious meal at Union Street Cafe.

Exploring the historic Town of Annapolis Royal, they visit Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens and enjoy the views from Fort Anne National Historic Site.
