Took my first overnight trip this weekend with bags on the bike. Just a short one to test out what it’s like all loaded up. Didn’t camp as yet to get the gear for that but was happy with how the rides went! Tried to keep the cost down for the bags as wasn’t sure how much I’d like it but if I keep it up then may invest in nicer gear. Put it all on my road bike as was a short trip (20 miles each way) but in future will probably use my old aluminium frame endurance bike for longer trips.
