Discovered severe cracking on the fork today on my vintage Benotto. See photos (excuse the dirt, been a sloppy commute this week). Anyone have any suggestions or have experience on replacements and repairs? Would I need to consider work to the headset too?
I’m worried about the rest of the frame now too, but apart from sandblasting and inspecting for cracks with a dye penetrant, I’m not sure how to quantify the risk of hidden cracking…
