Tonight we set foot Into the medieval ruins of Annersley Old Church which is surrounded by its own creepy graveyard and is reputed to be haunted and is a hotspot for paranormal investigators.
The mood changed after dark and from a pleasant historic tourist site became a creepy dark atmosphere and felt we weren’t alone

[Music] hi guys welcome to the channel we’re in we’ve gone into Nottinghamshire to uh aners Lee Hall to anle Old Church uh the hall is next door you can’t looks like you can’t get in that but we’re going to have a look at that later see if we can uh get anywhere we can get in it but it’s looking like we can’t at the moment but the old church is here now this has been deric since 1871 that’s 153 years and uh the all the artific what we’re in this church and now in the church what was built because uh about a mile down the road they’re all down there now that was built because the mining Community was getting bigger and bigger so this went into um really dead eltion um in 1871 which is a long time uh they in remains are still here uh and there’s one or two uh bits of the church what was uh in the old church when it was a proper church still here as well we’ll find out what is exactly here when we get through there we’re going to have a look it’s just about going dark guys um it’s quite haunted in here um I don’t know anything about the apparitions what’s been seen here apart from the being seen the faces have being seen they been quite big faces uh appearing especially inside where the gates are but we are going to be checking the whole lot out so join me in a minute see what we can pick up right there so we’ve come down tonight to do the Le old church and uh we have just checked the actual Hall and we can’t get in there to be a bit careful here going to walk in and it’s down here it’s a very haunted place apparently if I can get through these bushes without uh breaking NE and right hold on okay the lighting we face don’t help so we’re heading towards it guys and we’re going to give it a check tonight so just a reminder H as the all near nothingham okay guys let’s enter the uh the old church see what we can find in here right okay this is a grade one listed church and and uh it’s been here since the medieval times and to be honest um I don’t think it can ever be demolished there’s no reason to demolish it for really it’s a nice place for people to come during the day and uh it’s a it’s a paranormal hot spot at night so uh a lot of Ghost Hunters come here I’m surprising any here tonight and it’s a Saturday night uh and it’s very quiet so lucky that not respect so this is one of the places guys we want to uh we want to investigate tonight um this is where the main focus has been seen on the apparitions on these Gates and there is the old uh tunnel there at the end of there but you can’t get in there unfortunately which is a shame uh I would imagine there’s a staircase at back of there it takes you up up to the top and there would have been a floor above this cuz you see the windows up there right so got aier there weting have very interesting massive Place yeah is massive you just feel right okay around off me right yeah it it is massive it’s um bigger than I thought actually to be honest it’s not massive massive is it but there’s plenty of space to walk around and you not tripping all each other no so uh let’s get it a try and let’s uh let’s set some uh equipment up and see what we can pull in guys okay we’ve not heard much about the graveyard uh whether that’s haunted or not Perhaps it is if the actual ruins of the church are this must be as well so I’m going to give a call out I’m going to um what I’m going to do is I’ve set up the uh the music box I brought three uh lights what we call Cat balls and I’ve also brought the r pod so we’re going to give that a try over here so up here with me there yeah yeah the full moon as well see yeah just in distance yeah yeah just lift my camera up a little bit okay I don’t want to be filming zavier while he’s filming me because the lights get in each other’s way we can’t see anything and perhaps you I don’t think you’ll see anything either okay let’s move over here cuz I can hear a bit of traffic noise and uh I don’t want to be hearing that hello my name is Paul we’ got zavier with us we’re calling him Zap for short and we’ve come to see if anybody’s here who resides in this churchard it’s a medieval Church yard it by the way really old but it’s that old you can’t see the actual inscriptions on the gravestones little long gone long faded I don’t know what was medieval 1500s not sure right okay I’ve set some machines up what you call machines to detect whether you’re around or not you can do that by coming oh that’s me that’s me setting that off we B that straight away because the actual uh sensor on that side but that proves it’s working okay so if you can walk on this side there’s anybody around and help us by setting my music box off could play a tune and that tune is your tune the three cat balls on the on the the two on the floor one on the gravestone there are all active not sure where I put the third one on here but somewhere about oh it’s there for see it it’s quite noisy quite a bit of road traffic quite a busy road nearby unfortunately that’s uh something we’re going to have to put it we I’m going to put that the ASF so if we need any [Music] footage get face it to the music box and the cat yeah okay just make sure they’re both in frame I take that down theer yeah right it’s quite cold tonight but not [Music] freezing uh we don’t need a cat really it’s a lovely night and it’s not raining [Music] thankfully so come and say hello we’re all in a bunch together and we could say talk about whatever you want to talk about I’m going to put the uh spirit talker on when I get inside the old old church rather than [Music] this we have a little walk around I’ll tell you what zier going get me K2 meter have look walk out the yard right see if you can pick anything up with that right guys I’ve just put the uh K2 met on we’ll have a little walk around there go see if we can see any inscriptions can you walk towards me if we’ve got anybody with us this this little Gadget in my hand will light up when you get be made out of rocks actually there’s a cross there isn’t there crucifix and there’s a an anchor there’s an anchor sorry it’s not a cross there’s a cross there though we’re not picking anything up on the K2 meter right well have will walk back to the uh the the top side there where we’ got the equipment see if anything uh see if we can get anything back up there if not we’ll go inside so I’ll see here just by touching it moving it walking past it you could set the lights going and the r pod over here C ball going up which one same one yeah yeah the thing is I get a bit suspicious when just one goes off if another one goes off or one goes off on demand then I think maybe we’re on to something there so I don’t get too excited with one catb going off guys so anyway what we’ll do we’ll go inside the old church and we’ll try in there and we’ll do an investigation around the old Gates and uh see if we can pull anything in while we’re in there see you in a bit okay guys we’ve come up to the chancel this is where the old chancel was this church goes back to 12200 it says so there 1200 till 1871 so it’s older than I thought 1878 1878 is it yeah uh 1 12200 I’ve said 1500 didn’t it so medieval must be 1,200 round about there so I’ve got the ghost tube out and I’m going to have a little walk around with it this see if we can pick anything up around this section here uh a bit earlier the camera actually froze I’ve about to reset it again take the whole battery out and uh okay all right what we got there that’s the wall I think not use this for a while so that’s picking the wall up that’s picking that section of the wall up I don’t think there’s anybody there maybe there is you never know okay [Applause] so nothing down this side looks fairly [Applause] quiet so my name is Paul plus yeah still a long time but it was a beautiful place this when it was built it was really nice sometimes I wonder why they don’t put roots on and uh really do them up because the foundations on this must be in good Nick to be a the long and nothing’s crumbling on this it’s in good Nick and the even the towers pretty [Applause] stable so would you like to come and join me in your beautiful okay I can see you around this meel bar here this is probably where the original hinges of the gate were there that hole is a little bit small to hold anybody in so we can probably debunk that as some probably a little bit strange but I don’t think it’s paranormal no guys so we’re going to head down to the uh the tower now and uh and have a look at the tower that’ll be our final investigation of this place see if we can pull anything through that’s the hot spot for paranormal uh behavior and uh hopefully tonight we’ll bring something out we’re going to put the go uh the spirit talk on as well there so everything is down here and I’ve got the K2 meter in my hand which I’m going to use actually I don’t want to get too close to that ramper over here right hello now we know this place this area is reputed to be haunted by a spirit maybe one or two Spirits actually who’ve been caught on film and photograph hi I okay look a bit of activity there on the K2 meter so I have equipment set up like I’ve just said the K2 meter on me my hand if you want to move towards my hand and if you’re on this side of the gate feel free to walk forward meanwhile inside I’ve Got the Music Box there waiting for you and three cat balls and a r pod now what that means to you is if you walk near them you will set them off and we’ll know you’re around they will light up like a candle light like you had in your day if you want to check them out and investigate it feel free to do that right okay yeah there is a staircase with the bike there you may be able to see it on camera I don’t know but um that would have been great to get it there okay I’ve just used the SLS I’ve had nothing on it really significant um haven’t used it for actual ages uh if I don’t get anything for the spirit talker here that may be because how haven’t switched it on right okay we have switched it on now I tend to do that quite a lot not switch anything on and then uh I’m wondering why it don’t work okay let me explain the spirit talker B it’s a word burned it’s a word uh word bank and you can go in there and pick words out and talk to me through it that’s the idea that’s a theor theory of it now I know they’re all theoretic every everything we use is theoretic there’s no proof that it works however sometimes it becomes very clear that there may be something here around if sentences become repetent or they say you know they match up and that kind of thing like Jo almost join a conversation sometimes that happens so we got burned have you been [Music] burned he you told me have you been burned see that’s the watering uh thing but he also put Chis in and things like that holy water that’s that’s still there you see that this is where they do the baptisms here what you reckons have I mean yes yes use something else use something else use something else we haven’t got anything else to use we brought minimal amount yeah um we’ve not had much everywh like activity everywh no we haven’t really I’m panning down there see if I can see anything his voice what my voice or your voice tell me is it your voice I can hear or do you want to hear my voice [Applause] CA so what I’ve done I’ve put a
