Day two showed us what changing weather truly is on Madeira. Just on the morning shuttle to the top, we went through different climates, starting from a sunny beach, going through rainy clouds, and arriving at the top with a mixture of fog and sunshine. This is reflected on the stages as well. Starting from a nice flow trail, we came into Mordor of slippery trails and finished up with one of the best dusty trails I have ever ridden. The race organization shone again, and everything went smoothly. Then, all the way to the end of the day, we had dinner on the Funchal coastline with some fresh tuna stakes on the grill.
