About us:
In March 2017, Rick and Andrea (confessed Travel Addicts) started a Facebook Group called Travel Addicts as a way to share their travel photos and videos not just with their own respective friend’s lists – but with the world. Part of the reason was for bragging rights (I mean, that’s kind of the point of sharing photos, right?), but also to help answer questions to others about the destinations they have visited.

After inviting some of our friends and family, it grew and grew – and as of June 2019, the group has grown to over 200,000 members! One reason for our success, we believe, is that we have done our best to ensure only high-quality photos and videos get shared, all while limiting the use of commercial content.

are you visiting Marseilles by cruise ship and want to travel into the city for free yes today I’m going to tell you a best kep secret how to get to Mars for free so you don’t have to buy the Excursion with a cruise line all right so it starts by getting it the terminal and then you go outside okay let’s [Music] go okay so once you get through the cruise terminal you’re not allowed to take any photos or video they will yell at you to not do it and to erase it so that’s why you didn’t see anything inside now we are outside and we’re walking towards the shadow box right actually here you’re going to find the buses that are provided by the cruise line as well as taxis but these are and the Excursion buses and the Excursion buses but these are the expensive [Music] ones all right so what you’re going to want to do is look for the green line on the ground exactly and walk towards the city yes so far it’s about like 5 minutes walking uh and we will tell you when we are at the bus terminal long [Music] okay as you can see the bus runs every 20 minutes from 9 until 5:00 exactly actually it’s a little cozy in here hey it’s free if you want to be comfortable you spend 19 per person so [Music] true all right so so we just got off the free shuttle to Marseilles and it took the whole time from the time we got off the ship to the time we got right here 42 minutes exactly so the bus going to drop you off right by this big shopping mall which is about 20 minutes from the Old Port walking but it’s actually nice I to walk there’s lots of stores restaurant cafes where you can sit down there’s the big cathedral in marsel where you can actually go and explore so the free option is a good option for you if you want to walk a little bit and if you don’t mind walking a little bit that’s right exactly uh you know you mi a little room for lunch for dinner whichever now I should mention that the cruise line the cruise bus one that costs1 19 EUR in our case who knows what it costs in yours this one will take you a little bit closer to to the port so if you have mobility issues or something like that or we don’t want to walk or you don’t want to walk that’s an option that’s an option if anybody ever asks you how you knew about all of this stuff let them know that you follow travel addicts life thank you so much for watching and we’ll see you in another video bye

  1. You guys have great timing! I'm flying to Barcelona tomorow to embark Costa Toscana and we will get to Marseille next week. So this information is great! Thank you guys! 💚

  2. We're stopping off at Marseille in June 2024, sailing on the NCL Viva. Thanks for that tip. Will definitely use that option 👍🏻👍🏻

  3. Hello Rick & Andrea! You both make really nice, informative & very helpful vidoes. I’ve watching your vidoes since my son boarded Costa Smeralda to work. It’s been a couple of months now & he wants to explore the places where the ship docks. One would be Marseille. In your video, you mentioned that you were dropped off at the mall. What i would want to ask is, where do you take the free shuttle bus to get you back to the cruise port? I really hope you can help out. Thanks & keep the wonderful videos coming!😊😉👍🏼

  4. Guys, I’ve just posted a link to your video in my Facebook group for our upcoming Mediterranean cruise with Princess Cruises. A bientôt!

  5. Hi Guys! Geez, how did you get so lucky with so few people waiting for the bus? My goodness, when me and my family were there in January it took us over an hour to get on the bus and there were so many people waiting and so much chaos! Btw, thanks for all your helpful tips about Italy – we used a bunch in our travels 🙂
