Trying to decide which one of those 2 bikes I shoule get…. Ascend Zion Hardtrail 29 MTB ( https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/ascend-zion-hardtail-mountain-bike on sale for $350) or this 2024 Polygon Xtrada 5 ( https://www.bikesonline.com/polygon-xtrada-5-size-l-29inch-wheel @ $500 OOS but I’m sure it will be back). I couldn’t find anywhere the parts brand/model of the Ascend Zion, which is making me lean towards the Polygon, but wanted some advise if it’s really worthy the $250 price difference.
My riding habits (I currently have a Merax Finiss 26” which I hate and it’s too small): I ride 2-3 times a week to and from a nearby park that has an asphalted trail. I don’t do crazy mountain ride but would love to do ride in some real trails (but not those too rough)
My main goal is to do some cardio and workout my legs (yep, I mostly skip leg day)
