Im M/37. I started this year in februari 2024 with cycling. I did 0 sports, and i wanted to be fitter. Never touched a roadbike in my life. A collegue on my work introduced me to road cycling. I bought a 'budget' roadbike from decathlon. The Triban RC500. Its kinda heavy, 10+kg, but i really like it. Yesterday i did my first 100km!! Never thought it would be this fast to achieve this distance. Also im 1.94cm, and i was 92kg in februari, now im 86kg, which im proud of also. Now im thinking, why i never thought about road cycling? I regret i started so late. Just wanted to share my journey, which im really proud of. Happy cycling to you all !
