I got fitted at a shop yesterday and they suggested a medium for the new Trek Procaliber 6. I also tried the new Roscoe 6 (same frame as 7,8,9) in a small and my arms felt scrunched up. They told me the small frame in the Procaliber 6 is 1cm shorter than the Roscoe 6 meaning it would be even more cramped. I'm just not sure because all the size charts I've used indicated I should be a small. I do have a short inseam (28.5) even though I'm almost 5'4. I'm coming from a 2011 Norco xc entry level bike with 26" wheels so I don't have a lot for reference. This bike is expensive to me so I want to make sure the size is right. They also used a protractor device while I was on the bike and said the medium looked good. The didn't have a small procaliber to try so I would need to pay and order one without trying it if that's the size I want. Thoughts? I'm a female if that makes a difference.
