[ __ ] good morning oit how you doing uh we was down in this Valley down there I don’t know if you can see the woods in the distance uh but all the way down to the bottom of there and there is no signal in that Valley uh I melted my brakes coming through them Hills in I don’t know you probably can’t see them unless I zoom in but I’ll zoom in and show you literally I got to the bridge and I had brake fade at the front my front brake said yeah [ __ ] off ain’t working no more I completely cooked it yeah them Hills over there look steam pass off says morning morning steam so just saying to all get coming down through them Hills over there mate uh we had to zigzag like through them like that all the way down to the bottom which is down that lane and we had no signal but uh yeah the front brake I was like oh my God it it was uh not working parked up next to brakes and he was like I can smell them says oh nice yeah the brake pad I’ve never had that brake pads my on cars I have but not from my bike so uh steam past office says yeah you found a good coverage area last night it seems like K says hi all hi hi Katies how you doing team off says so you just hit something to break now welcome in welcome in so this is day eight of uh Landen Jonah Gres so last night we stayed in the valley uh a little campsite at someone’s house it’s an 800 year old house with thatched roof and stuff and I wish I’d taken more photos and stuff of it but uh it was raining this morning so it was a bit of a rush to kind of get up and get breakfast and stuff but uh yeah welcome in everyone where about you from Katies minutes down the road think a good idea right let’s get this uh oh catties G quite where actually you from catties this is Southwest England so so we come all the way through Colmore from Land’s End through Devon uh yesterday we were crossing dartmore and we’re kind of still on it a little bit we’re not quite out of the uh The Valleys yet but yeah we’re going to try and work our way up today towards exitor so yeah I think it’s 15 Mile hopefully there’s not too many Hills from the East UK from East UK says OMG you’re back I was adamant you’d been eaten by a bush Goblin morning YC uh we didn’t have any signal yesterday uh so I was getting worried I couldn’t end the stream there was literally no internet down in the valley uh have we put the map on yet actually let’s put the map on so the map comes up there we go the map should be on now uh the maps come on so I’m from I’m from Kent so I’m from Southeast UK but at the moment over the other side and whatever that is behind us really stinks I think it might be some kind of fertilizer but it’s uh it’s a bit on the stinky side oh good at this fragrant I’m sure the the soil and the plants are going to like it my nostrils aren’t K saysage yeah yep it doesn’t smell too Pleasant B sponges says hey hey plasma we back on the road and it feels like the wind yeah look look that way he Havey beautiful eh all the hill like on the hill there’s you probably well you can’t see it unless I zoomed in but I’m trying to hold the bike there’s a little house on the hill with a that roof well here probably comes the next rain let’s get up hereit out the wind so I’ve changed my diet a little bit for the cycle I a lot I don’t eat bananas or anything like that sponges says did you sleep well last night yes thank you I’d slept really well really really well uh but I’ve been eating a lot of bananas because of the energy and they’re good for you the only problem I’m struggling with is the amount of winds that I’m getting from them so burps and farts but to the point where it’s just out out of control and I said to uh no breaks it was like cuz he eats bananas and doesn’t he’s not agreeing with it Ste says he only eats bananas that’s different well I’ve been eating like for breakfast I had a egg bacon and sausage and Onion Roll last night we had sausage and onion and melted cheese flatbread toasted wraps which was quite nice uh I don’t know mate I really don’t know I’m think we’ve been pretty fortunate with the internet out here as well for the UK it’s been pretty good on the journey they come out tople love the room for a little country line oh my God don’t think I’m going to get past that no he’s not going to get past that I have to turn around there’s no way I’m getting past that hang on [Music] [Music] so just so you can see what’s going on he’s have to reverse up to let F past I weren’t squeezing the no way no I looked him and went yeah [ __ ] that I’m going back there was no way of getting past that um he was wide he was just a little bit I don’t think my bags would last very long yeah actually so oh but uh yeah the support though has been amazing uh like passers by scanning the barcodes on the phone and the bags and coming in and saying hello uh little messages have been [Applause] left a lot people have scanned it and left me little messages saying keep going you can do it and so yeah it’s been really really good it like when you have days of cuz it is hard work the bike’s 40 kg around that Mark and some of these Hills they are so steep we have to get off them like try and walk them up the hills cuz you just can’t ride them and even other cyclists are kind of making jokes and going like you’re never going to make it because of the sheer weight of the bike but I’m eager to get that uh that bit of paper so when you go to L’s end you can get a piece of paper and they stamp it it’s like a looks like a contract and you get it stamped at post offices as you got the country and then you get it finally stamped when you get to JN a Gro and then once you’ve got all the stamps you can uh get it verified so you can get your certificate to say you attempted it and you made it so I’m looking forward to getting that and getting that posted up on the uh on my wall and I’ve got the break yeah but I’m going to I was going to start my routes at some point the the problem is it’s just a lot of off-road I know the a38 it’s quite dangerous but at least you can fly along it doing at least 15 M hour we’re down to like uh what 5.3 is atin to getting through exitor would be nice uh and then once we’re through in through exitor maybe looking for a camp like the other side of it how Flats exitor we should be out onto the planes by then shouldn’t we last night was really quite there’s a funny video I send you YY that I’ve made one that I’m not going to put on the well I can’t put it on uh I’m toking and cooking dinner and I made a rather funny video at what point was you going to come out and say hello cuz you you’ll probably be working won’t you [Applause] [Applause] but yeah thanks to Idis for last night uh we was looking for loads of sights and all of a sudden he went near try this one so I’m thinking we’re going left I don’t know why but it could be straight on left would take us back to the main road oh right whoa yeah it’s kind of trying to time it right so we bump into each other I’m only around for half an hour today okay mate do you get paid for Sickies all of a sudden yaty comes down with a terrible bug oh I’ve got sickness and diarrhea it’s really bad while he camps in a field nice do you feel that you might be getting ill sometime soon yeah it wasn’t his fault he came out and at some sausages and bacon that I cooked and it turning right upside down I’m just thinking his welcome tune wouldn’t have gone off would it did it go off when he came in could be in a new stream so we’re going east is that the right where you need to be going streaming phone say2 in this one is it the cables your Cable’s [ __ ] about no I think it’s the won’t charge this one this one’s just start charging that one see I use the big battery to charge my phone in the morning or at night so I wake up and it’s 100% ready to go [ __ ] awesome mate you use one of yours to do that I turn everything off so I turn all the yeah like I said airplane mode and then charged them all last night on these headphones I just didn’t charge yeah problem why was cables I’ve got a cable that it will charge one way but if you put it and put it the other way it doesn’t work it’s very tempal I’m going to my watch streak what that mate why you going to lose that says your stream will die and I’ll be in work L long as you come in the next time I go live says just my love well I didn’t I couldn’t end the Stream So when we went into the valley last night we had no signal I had no signal on the streaming phone no signal on the chat phone oh was it yeah no one stopped it oh yeah I sent a couple of commands on on here I can send the command out to stop stop stop and I just kept going stop stream stop stream but it didn’t come back and announce that it stopped so I just hoped for the best and when I got signal this morning and tried to stop it it was already stopped so yeah thing is mine you can set it up in the software we use you have to set it up and name the people that are allowed to stop your stream for you otherwise anyone could just type stop and my stream would stop yeah I do have people to I forgot to do it was going on screen oh so not even any CS oh that’s weird says where are you aiming for today the clips ended the clips stop after a while it doesn’t always repeat uh we’re trying to get through morning ERS hopefully we can hit exitor and we can get through it that would be a good one uh so yeah fingers crossed on that but this this last Hill we’ve just hit was a killer and it hasn’t finished yet we’ve just come from the valley down there um yeah we should done some clips of that to be did anyone clip that down there I’m um sorry yeah I’m just trying to fix before says no I forgot that’s all right while he’s doing it’s like someone put the brakes on or suddenly dabbled the we that next bit got me yeah I started off and then it just felt like someone to put loads of extra weight on my bike it’s got [ __ ] H and it hasn’t finished hey mate 15% fu said we’d be here for an hour didn’t I on this hill the view the views are pretty good looking down on the sheep and it just keeps on giving [Applause] follow me follow me again oh getting there [ __ ] knowell that hurt think I don’t think I think I could probably manage it on the on this bike with nothing else on it but this is a this is a mountain bike it’s a specialized rock hopper 2008 model so it’s quite old I think I paid 150 quid for it secondhand cuz I was looking to get back into cycling but this was like back in 2015 and uh we went riding for about a year and then one of my mates moved away it just sat in the garage while I was doing everything else and then we bought ebikes 3 years ago and kind of got back into cycling again and then yeah I pulled this out the pulled this out and it had Offroad time I’ve done a bit off-roading and whatever else and then when we were looking at doing this I was like well I haven’t really got a bike that I can do it on so put the slick tires on with the punch resistance slime inner tubes and then managed to find these These are from Germany these mudguards and they’re quite good cuz they’re they’re kind of multi fitment and on the front they’ve got like a Velcro so you can just velcro them where you need them to be so they’re quite vertile uh mul fitment but it turned what you know I mean I used what I had lying around really but a lot of people have said don’t use an aluminium frame because it’s it’s very thin and I’m carrying a lot of weight on it but I try and take it easy when I hit bumps if I see bumps I’ll slow right down for them but it said I think it was I think it was like 175 kg or something maximum load that was uh passenger and white so I don’t think I’m anywhere near that was it that hang on is it cuz I’m 76 I’m about 76 77 kg I think this is only 40 so we’re only about 110 alum how often did you get out and cycle I’m trying to do this and if we can encourage other kids to get out and about cuz a lot of kids now they don’t get out they’re not like when I was younger yes so and it’s good for mental health I was really strug struggling a couple of year ago says days usually but rain the thing I get about so if it starts raining you go oh I’m not going to go cycling it’s raining and I do the same but what I found weird is when you’re out cycling and it starts raining I don’t go oh I’m going to go home it’s raining I just continue doing what I’m doing cuz once you’re out in it you’re already hot so you’ve warmed up your body underneath your wet gear can you come Pi me up iote to L because said I need to go Bing it’s we it’s weird isn’t it so once you’re out you really enjoy it but you look out the window but yeah some there are the odd times cuz I’ve got I bought this jacket this one here uh oh God I can’t think it’s made by it’s really good but it’s really weak so that’s the second one I had I emailed him and said look I’ve only worn it twice now and already it’s ripped but it’s the something 360 cuz the whole material is reflective I’ve got a lot the reflected gloves and the only reason I’ve done it was because of L enter Jah Gres being on a lot of Roads frame and my trike nice we just talking about when it’s raining you go oh I’m not going to go cycling but when you’re out you go oh it’s not too bad you just carry on you morning Martin nice to see you to see you nice Martin says iar a Castell jacket wasn’t cheap but worth it castelli that sounds Posh I was looking around at loads of things and because once you start looking then all your ads come up toop eating cheeseburgers maybe stoping out jacket like I can’t think who made that one but it had a really good write up the reviews were come this way they said it’ll be great they said right which one of us is going in a big hole first rawan you just have to do the crest in it the crest yeah the brow the B of the hill b of the road says is that right we have to wait now cuz once you’ve done a clip dear chall the problem is now you’ve done a clip there’s going to be a timer so you can’t do another clip and if I fall off you won’t be to clip it and it won’t even let me clip really no I don’t know what I’ve done it says no [ __ ] off that’s not allowed oh you have to I’ll tell you what you can still do a clip but you have to do it the twitch way you can’t do the command the command’s got a Timeout on it but you can do it the other way so if I do fall off yeah do the manual clip not the type clip rights [Laughter] there you go in in there but looks it here he comes we made it there you go there we go loads of Clips we both clipped it uh so for anyone who’s new when you clip on the stream uh all them videos will go into the clip library and that’s that’s what plays when I’m offline so if I lose signal all the clips will be playing in the background so I’d like to get it so it comes up and says who done the clips uh cuz that would be quite cool but at the moment it doesn’t tell you who done them but I’m slowly evolving the stream uh which is very difficult when I’m out here in the middle of nowhere and I keep saying that I’m going to sit down and do some editing but it’s having the signal to do it over nothing [Music] to you don’t see this in London do you how beautiful is that look is that a 4G M it looks like a 4G I don’t even know what half these things do half these uh commands five months yeah it’s definitely been a challenge of mates World being out here and we haven’t even made exit yet uh that’s the that’s the push for today we need to every now and then it would just pop and send it uh I think it took an hour to send the first message and V phone it was on E for emergency I couldn’t do anything you okay yeah I’m all right I was just trying to ring the kids because the house we stayed at was an 800 year old house part of it was it had like an extension the lady’s husband had only just died she’s arranging the funeral and she must have been well in her 80s she looked like a almost like a skeleton where she was so old but uh oh she was lovely very very very very Posh uh but yeah oh [ __ ] sake there’s a car behind me let’s them with the scissors and put the cheese and fold them up into little like little pockets and done like uh layers and layers and layers of uh cheese sausage and onions uh I can only eat one though but feel could eat two of them I could I could only eat one I can’t eat a big meal I have to eat lots of like I could probably eat another one now I have to have like a meal then another meal then thing is I had a BMX with suspension on the front of it off of a pooch no a Thomas 50 I think it was off was it a Thomas 50 or a pooch Maxi for anyone who doesn’t know a pooch Maxi was a moped or moped and I took the suspension off of it and it fitted straight onto a a BMX frame and the double clamps clamp the handlebars and yeah I had a a chrome BMX with blue suspension on the front of it and uh I’ve always been like a crazy inventor and yeah all my mates were like can you do mine but where it was getting old of the parts I think it was burnt out on the marshes and I was like oh I know what I can do with them they will fit on a oh you say Puck was it I don’t know if it was PK was it do you remember the little pedal mopeds yeah pedal and P yeah po was it Pooch p u h was it I thought it was p u h he said in Europe we called them Puck but the front forks were like a cycle where you could just put the axle straight in a that one oh okay see I’ve done that and then I got a normal pair of forks drilled them and bolted them to it for the brake cuz the brake was it was the old uh Hub brakes not Hub uh Rim like Rim brakes [ __ ] this but yeah that was a cool BMX got stolen like everything else it was an 800 old house like literally every every enough every bike I’ve had this is why I’m so careful now got stolen you just leave it somewhere gone from Austrian so our way might be right butar to beong the electric hamper van that what was that don’t know there was all C band in the back I couldn’t see any it I looked in I looked through her ah it all blacked out but yeah there’s there’s this BMX there doing some of the runs on and the guy flying down was doing some pretty good uh getting some good air on it doing table tops and whatever else I thought there some getting wet yeah £ 35 a night each in someone’s back Garden I think I would have thrown the tent back in the bag and said thank you but see you later for that price I could have gone to a hotel and talk but there’s a lot of Watchers we get like half the people that well even more than that at least 30 people that watch but don’t come into the Twitch app all I’d like to say to all them uh people out there watching outside the Twitch app if you come into the Twitch app and watch me you don’t have to talk about then you would I earn money off of the adver adverts that go off whereas if you’re watching outside you still watch the ads or the blank screen but I don’t get anything for it so it supports the stream if you watch me on Twitch because of the ad revenue and that goes towards my 4G includes going around in circles and getting lost so we keep getting [ __ ] following exactly where he went uh I don’t know where my routs go but I would prefer to be on roads like this than going around the country lanes now uh now we’ve done uh Coral cuz I just want to get a blast on uh if we can do like 60 mile days that we can gain some time back but I’ve got 30 days to do it we’re on day and so if you do that that’s what we’re into we’re in there if you do that every day that’s a combination of extra miles and so at the end of it you’re going to have to pay 30 probably an extra in total an extra30 trying to save a couple of quid each day you’ll probably pay more money in the end because you’re spending more days on the on the route not really cuz the road the other road that from screw fix the tall ones they’ve got the same fitting so if we get really stuck we could just use one of them cuz this fitting just screws on the top of it so it should be right nice there we go big ask in it to ask someone to drive for like 12 hours well more than 12 hours probably about 14 hours and I think the next time I get a night train I’m sleeping on the train uh cuz that was torture
