Cycling the Loire à Vélo From Nevers to Tours
Having previously ridden several sections of the Loire à Vélo on day trips while staying in and around Tours and Angers, my wife Joy, and I decided to spend a week cycling the upper section from Nevers downstream to Tours.
We drove from England and parked our car in Tours for the week, and caught the train from Tours to Nevers with our bikes. We stayed overnight in the centre of Nevers before setting off on Monday 13th May for our first overnight destination, a guest house in Sancerre.
