Hey, Im looking into changing from 2x to 1x, I have Ultegra FC-R8000 front chainring and Ultegra RD-R8000-DGS RD.
I searched around a bit and people recommend just buying a wolftooth 110BCD asymmetric chain ring (https://www.wolftoothcomponents.com/products/110-bcd-asymmetric-4-bolt-for-shimano-cranks), which seems like a simple solution.
but issue is it's pretty expensive just for a chainring and the 4 chainring bolts they recommend you buy as well are also quite expensive.
Is there a cheaper alternative? Another brand perhaps? I'm in EU btw.
Nice thing about the wolftooth if i understand correctly is I think it is already offset for the chainline.
