[Music] this is a vision of the future right here in stock what an amazing asset for stport Town Center for its people for its visitors and for its businesses [Music] thank you so much everyone for gathering this morning in the heart of Stockport and a transform Stockport it is absolutely a momentous day for Stockport and marks a big milestone in what’s been our 1 billion Pound Town Center regeneration breathing new life into a town and bringing a new energy to it it’s fantastic that this Vision has come through [Music] it really is a fabulous new sustainable interchange and the quality of the build is just fantastic so it’s a really proud moment to see people just looking around in Wonder at this amazing new interchange it really brings the B Network to life it’s everything the B network is about convenient modern good quality public transport and all of the other benefits that come with a new open space here in the heart of stock [Music] active transport has been built in from the very outset of this particular project I’ve tried it out myself this morning and it’s just so easy to use it’s signed it’s easy to find now this is going to be so well used and I hope it means that people can enjoy their active Journeys even [Music] more this is so much more than just an interchange we’ve got the residential development as well so massive sustainable accessible new neighborhood for stport [Music] wilart Dixon approached us as part of their social value offering we rely on support from the community and local businesses and they’ve done some incredible fundraising for the charity I’ve had the opportunity to be a part of stop put into change which has been a great experience allowing me to gain more knowledge and also more confidence in myself it’s a transport interchange of the highest quality it feels like a state-of-the-art facility that the public of Stockport deserve I think working in conjunction with Wilmont Dixon and The Wider Team all the supply chain we’ve really got a facility that everybody can be proud of the pragmatism that sense of can do everyone involved in the project uh has had that shared vision of deliver it’s so important for civic pride for the people of Stockport to see this investment and the changing face of Stockport is really important I think it will leave a very powerful Legacy and I think it’s testimony to the determination and the positive ambition that stockboard has demonstrated for a number of years now to actually transform Town Center living Stockford is the place to be and I think when people see this kind of thing happening I think that speaks volumes for our positive ambition as a local area
