IT’S THE LAST VIDEO OF THE SERIES 😭

This video is all about the third day of Rubik’s UK championships (or as I call it champions league) 2023 and A LOT HAPPENED!

This series has been so fun t make and it seems to be doing really well so I’ll aim to do one next year as well 🙂

A huge thanks to all the delegates, organisers, and other staff for making this amazing competition possible and of course to my friends for making it an awesome time 🙂

so it’s the final day of the Rubik’s Champions League 2023 so today all the big finals are happening including the 3X3 head tohe head uh where I’ll be competing and hopefully this guy kale say hi you’re competing in head head finals right definitely 100% And then there’s also 2 by two and pirra and other stuff it’s going to be a very busy day so let’s hope it all goes well isn’t that right s all right warning this video doesn’t really have much vlogging because I was very busy on Sunday warming up and competing for my main events which we’ll get to you later so for the majority of the video you’re going to have me doing this voice over thing sorry about that so first of all I had 3×3 semi-finals at 9:00 which sucks because I got to The Venue at 8:50 with freezing Hands by the time 3×3 had started I had done a grand total of one warm-up Sol I definitely wasn’t in a good position to do well also it just happened that the scrambles for this round were crazy good because of my hands my average was low seven but trying these again at home I got a 5.05 average first try that’s what you’re seeing now of course there are more nerves in competition but nevertheless getting three fours in an average at home is still ridiculous I really wish I was earlier to the competition then I could have done so much better and probably got an [Music] NR what the heck after this I had the second round of one handed where I got a [Music] [Music] 13.96% I got off to a strong start with a 2.55 which was blocked by the person in the video which is sad but the rest of the average didn’t really go well as I proceeded to get three sixes and a four I was a bit disappointed by this as I’ve been working on this event for a while but in the grand scheme of things it wasn’t really a big deal now before we get onto the big finals it was lunch time woohoo we went to Costa and I had an epic sausage bath and chocolate tiffen to give me some energy and also why do I look like I’m trying to shoot myself with my hand in this photo I don’t know but anyway inside the venue we also found this pigin which by some miracle managed to make its way in it was Shing around the place and we were talking about how if it pooped on someone’s Cube then it would be called DNM 36 I I honestly don’t know why we talk about this stuff but whatever it’s fun now on to the big finals first up 2 by two James Alonzo last year I won this event but now there are loads more people who are as good and even better than me like Luke Burns who might remember from from last episode anyways I started off with a 1.97 followed by a 1.98 both very close times but I knew I needed to do better so third solve I do a 1.64 which is exactly what I need but then the next solve goes horribly wrong and I get a 2.63 oh no so I have a guaranteed counting 1.97 and 1.98 in the average but what will the third be well on the last so I get a 1.36 my best time meaning that the 1.64 counts giving me a 1.8 six winning average let’s go I actually can’t believe I managed to pull this off considering in the second round I literally came seventh now for the highly anticipated 3×3 head-to-head finals and I think I’m going to let this one speak for [Music] itself [Music] I failed or at least in my eyes I did I came third which although isn’t a total disaster I was really hoping for better than a 7.66 average last year I won with a 7.15 average so by that data I’ve literally got worse since last year which feels terrible on the other hand congratulations to Nicholas ARA for winning even with Rue which is very impressive the revolution is happening andn 2 by two a 1.86 average your 2 by two national champion is 10 Toto y wo [Applause] now it is time for the most coveted trophies of all our 3×3 trophies these will be to our 3×3 National podium in third place with a 7.66 average it’s j one time yeah in second place with a 7.54 average your 3×3 second place person is Chris [Applause] Mills and winning 3×3 with a 7.35 average the champion of Rubik’s UK Championship 2023 is nichas ation all right so I’ve just got home from the competition and boy those finals were crazy it’s been a really good competition thanks so much to all the organizers for organizing it and also thanks to all my friends for making it a fun competition hope you enjoyed this video it’s been a really fun to make and I’ll catch you in the next one bye

  1. I've really enjoyed this series of videos, and I'm sorry you failed 3×3 finals, national finals are always rough (I've never won one bruh). But as Twan said to me this year the NR average is a more important stat, and congrats on winning 2×2!🐧

  2. Unfortunate that we didn’t have the chance to meet in person during my times in UK but congratulations on ur 2×2 win and hope u will become national champion on 3×3 next year!
