Blocked Code Caliper
Swapping out my rotors tonight. Went from Centerline to HS2. Plan was to reset the pistons and do a mini bleed. Front was fine.
Got to the back and couldn’t inject any oil. Using Bleeding Edge. Didn’t matter how much I forced it nothing went in. Tested the port (little 3mm hex stopper thing) of the bleeding edge, good flow. Tried with a block in and out. Tried with the lever open and closed. When injecting from the lever end the oil does pass through and drain from the calliper but it takes lots of pressure and basically drips out not the high flow of when you do a gravity bleed.
I think it must have a blockage somewhere between the pistons and the bleed port? The brakes functioned just great until then. I know how to bleed brakes, this was not user error.
Code RSC will be 2 years old in August.
