Had I taken my e-bike, I would not have gone so far. 🙂
This is one of the few occasions where an e-bike is useless and won’t enable you to see as much as the good old regular bike.
Biking through kilometers of flooded beauty of the Morava river in Slovakia was really marvelous (except the myriads of mosquitos and leeches – but it was worth the blood and sweat 🙂 ).
This is also one of few benefits of the former Iron Curtain, which once existed in this area, thus preserving nature and avoiding the biotope devastation. These are regular floods in the Morava river floodplain, no damages nor dangers have occurred there at all.
