I’ve been having a blast following this sub and building up my old Haro. I’m going for a cargo hauling/gravel/bikepacking beast. So far I took off the suntour suspension fork it came with and grabbed a rigid Surly bridge club fork and 3d printed some anything cages for it, upgraded handlebars to salsa bend 2’s, 3d printed bottle cages, cut some custom fishing rod holders for the rear rack, 3d printed a quad lock stem cap and handlebar bag holder, upgraded wheels from 26” to 27.5, slapped on some semi slick 47 mm gravel tires, and today I added the fenders. I’m also pretty happy with my selle saddle, Walmart grips, and combo spd/flat pedals. Next up I’m thinking hydraulic brakes. The bike is starting to get a little heavy so I’m seriously debating converting it to an ebike. What do you guys think? Pros and cons? What would you upgrade/change next?
